At 8,000 feet is Stand, the transition point for the gondola and Rotair which goes to the top of Titlis. This stop is mostly intended to change modes of transportation as well as to allow skiers and snowboarders to get off but it does have some nice views. In particular, I was able to get a closer view of the cloud filled valley down below as well as the steep ascent that the Rotair makes to reach the top of Titlis.
