Pueblo Bonito is the largest "great house" in the Chaco Culture National Historical Park, containing over 600 rooms. Pueblo Bonito reached upwards of 4 stories and contained 40 kivas. It was huge! It is a bit hard to tell the scale of it from photographs. Even seeing it on person, its scale is only evident if you are looking at it from a place where you can see the whole thing. It is quite impressive that the Chaco people were able to build such a huge complex!

There is also an interesting room that you can enter that contains original wood in its ceiling and original plaster on its walls, though the plaster has been covered up due to vandalism. Its pretty amazing that the room has survived mostly intact for 1000 years!
